George L. Psak is the senior trial attorney at Psak & Associates.He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney as designated by the New Jersey Supreme Court since 1983, a professional distinction awarded to only a small percentage of active trial attorneys. He specializes in the practice of litigation in the areas of negligence, products liability, complex tort, worker's compensation,and commercial litigation. He has particular expertise in playground equipment litigation and all aspects of commercial finance law, particularly in the automobile finance industry. Mr. Psak is the senior managing partner at Psak &Associates and oversees all litigation assignments. He coordinates the firm's compliance with the procedural and policy requirements of individual clients. He oversees the implementation of all computer software and coordinates the integration and reporting requirements of all clients. Mr. Psak is the Chief Judge of the Municipal Court for the Borough of Middlesex since 1990, where he served as Municipal Prosecutor since 1980, is a member and past President of the Middlesex County Conference of Middlesex Court Judges. He was a Volunteer Juvenile Referee for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Middlesex County. He currently serves as an arbitrator for the Middlesex County Superior Court, Automobile Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution programs. He is an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of Middlesex County, ATLA, the New Jersey Defense Association, the New Jersey Stata Bar Association, the Middlesex, Hunterdon and Somerset County Bar Associations, has served as the attorney for the Bound Brook Board of Health for the past twenty years and is counsel to the Middlebrook Regional Health Commission. He serves as General Counsel to The Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, sits on the Board of Directors for the Community Home Care Association. He received a B.A. Degree in Political Science from Villanova University in 1973 during which time he also studied at the University of London, England. He received his J.D. Degree from Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio in 1977.
